Gothic 3 Hints
Find the first paladin's helmet.
1 of 7: You get this mission by talking to Shawn in the Okara caves.
2 of 7: Search the buildings in Geldern until you find the helmet.
3 of 7: It's in Grimboll's house, which is near the southern exit.
4 of 7: Turn right as you enter the house to find the helm setting on a small table.
5 of 7: It's okay to take it, so you don't have to sneak or fight anybody for it. You'll get 500 XP and Thieving +1 when you pick it up.
6 of 7: Once you have it, you can keep it and wear it for its protection bonuses, or you can sell it to Jared in his nearby shop for 1939 gold and 1000 XP.
7 of 7: What you should do is sell it to Jared, then beat him up and take it back. (To avoid everyone else turning hostile, attack Jared when he's alone inside his shop, like at night when he's in bed.)
