Tjalf's chest.
1 of 4: You can get this mission by asking Hjalte about gold right after finishing "Hjalte is hungry" or by asking Ugolf near the east end of the village.
2 of 4: The chest he recommends you loot is in the back right corner of Tjalf's big house, which is at the east end of the village.
3 of 4: You can unlock it and raid it at any time to get 2000 XP and Thieving +1, plus 1000 gold and a "weapon chest" item. (See the Weapon Chests list for more about that.)
4 of 4: Or if you finish the Mine Freeing Missions first, Tjalf will give you the key to the chest.
