Gothic 3 Hints

Tunnelrumbler

  • 1 of 12: You can get this mission from Ugolf near the east end of the village.
  • 2 of 12: To make some tunnelrumbler booze, Ugolf will need 20 boozeberries, two minecrawler pincers, and two lumps of magic ore.
  • 3 of 12: If you lack any of those ingredients, start by looking around the village for them.
  • 4 of 12: There's a lump of ore on the table in Ingvar's smithy, right next to the town teleporter stone.
  • 5 of 12: Another lump of ore is on a shelf in the back of the house that's just SW of Ugolf's.
  • 6 of 12: You can get one minecrawler mandible on Hauke's "Kill the minecrawler in the prospectors' camp" mission. (You can also get all the magic ore you need from that mine.)
  • 7 of 12: Minecrawlers are rare in Nordmar, so you may need to find some in Myrtana to come up with the other mandible.
  • 8 of 12: As for boozeberries, they grow in Nordmar, but you might have better luck looking for them around Faring. Also, you can find boozeberries in the inventories of many goblins. (And you can buy some from Ketil in the south part of the village if his inventory randomizes just right.)
  • 9 of 12: When you have everything that Ugolf needs, turn it over to him to get 2000 XP, three Hammer Clan rep points, and Alchemy +1.
  • 10 of 12: You can then ask him to give you a bottle of tunnelrumbler, which you will immediately drink.
  • 11 of 12: You'll have to have an Endurance attribute of at least 200 to stomach the horrible stuff.
  • 12 of 12: When you can, you'll get 2000 XP, three Hammer Clan rep points, three Nordmar rep points, a bottle of tunnelrumbler to keep, and the option to have Ugolf accompany you as a henchman.
