Gothic 3 Hints
Liberate Ardea from the orcs!
1 of 7: You start the game with this mission.
2 of 7: Draw your sword or bow, whichever you prefer to use, and start attacking orcs.
3 of 7: You can hang back and play it safe or charge in, hacking madly.
4 of 7: If your life energy gets knocked down to zero, you'll just rest a bit before getting back up with partial life energy. (But don't count on this happening anywhere else.)
5 of 7: When the orcs in the starting area are all dead, run down one of the nearby streets to find more orcs that need a good thrashing.
6 of 7: When the last few orcs flee, you'll get a message saying so along with 500 XP, two Rebel reputation points, and more XP for each fleeing orc.
7 of 7: TIP: Go all through Ardea, looting corpses and picking up fallen weapons. (Note that fleeing orcs will drop their weapons at various spots just outside the town walls.) Also, check out the various buildings and the table that Hamlar is standing near for more items.
