Gothic 3 Hints
Raw materials for Kalan.
1 of 4: Talk to Kalan at his smithy in the upper part of the village to get this mission.
2 of 4: Kalan requires you to get thirty pieces of raw steel and a smith's hammer before he'll teach you any smithing skills.
3 of 4: If need any of that stuff, go talk to the smiths in all the cities and villages you've visited so far -- they'll probably have some in inventory. (Kalan himself probably has a few to sell.)
4 of 4: Kalan just teaches the standard stuff, so only go to the trouble of getting him all that steel if you want to get 2000 XP and five Fire Clan rep points.
