Gothic 3 Hints

Baldar's tomb.

  • 1 of 11: This is the tomb at the red X that's nearest the top left corner of the ancestor map that Kerth gave you.
  • 2 of 11: Play the lure-away game with all the skeletons in the cave's entry chamber to clear it out, then repeat for the inner chamber.
  • 3 of 11: However, a thorough search of the place will reveal no ancestor stone.
  • 4 of 11: Head outside the cave and look around.
  • 5 of 11: You see those blood splatters on the ground?
  • 6 of 11: Follow the bloody footprints that lead away from them.
  • 7 of 11: They'll take you to a nearby cave with a shadowbeast in it.
  • 8 of 11: Kill the beast and loot its body to find Baldar's ancestor stone.
  • 9 of 11: Return to Baldar's tomb cave and find the runed pedestal in the back of the inner chamber.
  • 10 of 11: Stand so that the words "Runed pedestal" come up, then click and choose to place the ancestor stone in the pedestal.
  • 11 of 11: That'll get you 2500 XP, five Fire Clan rep points, five Nordmar rep points, and Strength +3.
