Gothic 3 Hints
The skins of the rotten beasts.
1 of 10: Talk to Musan over near the arena that's a bit south of the city exit to get this mission.
2 of 10: Travel to Zarkos' camp, which is directly north of Ishtar and directly west of Ben Sala, and ask Zarkos for directions.
3 of 10: The cave with the rotten beasts in it is near Zarkos' camp.
4 of 10: Go directly west from the camp until you reach the mountains.
5 of 10: Turn right (NW) and move forward until you reach a big opening to a large area on the left.
6 of 10: The cave you're after is in the very back of that large side area.
7 of 10: There are a *whole* lot of lions in and around that cave, so be prepared for a long, drawn-out battle in which you'll have to keep retreating to heal up.
8 of 10: TIP: Once you're near the cave, you can jump up onto the rocky mountainside near it and use arrows or spells to shoot lions from safety. Just be sure to get far enough up that they can't run up after you.
9 of 10: You'll need five skins from rotten beast lions to give Musan.
10 of 10: When you have them, return to Ishtar and hand them over to get 2500 XP, 15 Ishtar rep points, and Hunting Skill +1.
