Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Hints

Strength

  • * Ardea: Olis at the orc camp south of town [m]
    * Faring: Kazus in the castle courtyard
    * Gotha: Raik near the west end of the rebel camp [m]
    * Silden: Anog in the SE part of town [m]

    There are also large, round millstones (sometimes called "orc boulders") lying around in several areas that you can use to raise your Strength attribute. Each millstone requires you to already have a Strength of 250, and gives a +5 to Strength the first time you successfully lift it above your head.

    * Faring: castle courtyard
    * Geldern: next to a building near the town's south gate
    * Montera: castle courtyard (req. only 200 Strength)

    You can find and make potions that permanently increase your Strength. To make them, you'll need the Potions with Permanent Effects skill, a recipe for permanent Strength potions, all the ingredients that the recipe lists, and an alchemist's bench to work at.

    There are many main and misc. missions that give permanent Strength increases when you finish them. You can get a total of 42 Strength from misc. missions. As for the main missions, it's more complicated since they branch several times. You'll get 117 Strength for the main missions you have to do, plus 32 more for going to Thorus instead of Gorn. If you then choose to blame the humans for the war, you can get 10 more Strength after buying your way out of jail or 15 more Strength after refusing to buy out.
