Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Hints
Fight the novice in the arena.
1 of 3: Talk to Tabor near the fighting arena to get this mission.
2 of 3: Enter the arena and knock Gus out to get Strength +2 and 2500 XP. (Note that he'll probably run away at some point, but you'll still get the same reward as if you'd knocked him out.)
3 of 3: NOTE: You can then enter the nearby guarded building and loot it. (The orc guards will only let you in without a fight right after you finish an arena battle.)
