What about the keys he mentions?
1 of 5: He gave you one of the three keys, so look for people who'll give you the other two.
2 of 5: They're both mages. One of them is in Gotha, and the other is in Faring.
3 of 5: Approach Tavin in Gotha's castle courtyard to get his key, and Morgan in Faring's castle courtyard to get his key.
4 of 5: To find Rollan's chest, go to the north end of the large stone bridge that's just south of Faring, then go west across the slanty terrain.
5 of 5: Past a couple of rhinos, you'll find Rollan's chest. You can open it if you have all three keys or can pick difficult locks (or have an Open Locks scroll).
