Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Hints
Kill the beasts.
of 9: After finishing the "Kill the summoner" mission, find Milten where you fought the first summoner warriors and talk to him to get this mission.
of 9: Before you do anything else, spend whatever learning points you have on powering up your ranged attacks. I'd suggest increasing Ancient Knowledge to make Fireball and other such spells more effective, but you can increase your Hunting Skill if you prefer using bows.
of 9: As for where to find the beast, check your Documents page to find that you have a new summoner's map in addition to the old world map.
of 9: The summoner's map has red circles drawn around Trelis, Nemora, Okara, and Reddock, so those are the places to check.
of 9: WARNING: Orcs are hostile to you now, and the ones in Trelis will all attack you if you go there.
of 9: I don't know if it's random, but I always found the beast in Reddock, down on the main cave's floor.
of 9: Move down the sloping path that leads to the main floor slowly, looking for opportunities to sneak-attack the beast before it sees you.
of 9: Keep hitting it with ranged attacks and retreating until you kill it, at which time you'll get Strength +15 and 25,000 XP.
of 9: After that, all you have to do to finish the game is go to Vengard's castle throne room and talk to Gorn and Lee. (Note that you can play on after the end credits if you want to.)
