Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Hints
Kill the ugly people.
of 8: To get this odd mission, talk to Vaingard, who's probably hanging around the entrance to the big sunken pit area.
of 8: Go to Kapdun (Cape Dun) and find the sloping path that leads from the south side of town to the beach.
of 8: Skip the cave entrance that's on your right as you go down the path. Go on down to the beach, then turn right and go past a shack where some orcs and humans are hanging around.
of 8: At the end of the beach, turn right to find some lurkers near the cave entrance you want to use. If you can't kill the lurkers yourself, lead them back to the shack so the orcs and humans will help you kill them.
of 8: In the cave, kill the lone goblin, then go past a couple of campfires to reach some wooden ramps that lead down to the ugly men's residential area.
of 8: Look all around the ugly men's area for loot and chickens to kill for XP and meat (don't attack the pigs, though), then talk to the "ugly leader" guy to get the "Kill Vaingard instead of the uglies" mission.
of 8: If you insist on killing the uglies, the best way to do it is to attack and finish them off one at a time. They won't ever all gang up on you at once.
of 8: When they're all dead, you'll get a "quest success" notice. Return to Vaingard to get your reward of 5000 gold.
