What is making all of the noise inside the Blast Pit?

  • 1 of 9: You are about to find out.
  • 2 of 9: Once you gain access to the middle walkway just outside the Blast Pit walls, follow the path along until you come to a control room. Open the door but wait and watch.
  • 3 of 9: The thing that grabs the scientist is called a giant tentacle.
  • 4 of 9: Tentacles are very powerful and cannot be killed using conventional weapons.
  • 5 of 9: Listen to the characters nearby. They will help describe it to you.
  • 6 of 9: In particular, a security guard will give you some very important information.
  • 7 of 9: Tentacles cannot see you. They can only hear you.
  • 8 of 9: That is the only edge you have against these beasts, so be quiet.
  • 9 of 9: A single hit from a tentacle will often kill you no matter how much health and battery power you have.
