Half-Life Hints

I've gotten everything ready. Now how do I fire the rockets?

  • 1 of 6: Remember that control room above the Blast Pit?
  • 2 of 6: It had a button labeled "Test Fire."
  • 3 of 6: That button will fire the rockets in the Blast Pit.
  • 4 of 6: Work your way back up to the control room by avoiding the tentacles and dropping grenades to distract them.
  • 5 of 6: Once inside, push the "Test Fire" button, and the tentacles will be destroyed.
  • 6 of 6: You may take a little fire damage in the process due to the protective glass being broken, but it should be minimal if you scrunch yourself into a corner of the room.
