Half-Life Hints
How do I move the nearby tram car onto the main tracks?
1 of 7: The tram car is your ticket out of these tunnels. You need it to get you into the deeper parts of the old Black Mesa Research complex.
2 of 7: You need to maneuver the tram car into position so that you can follow the tracks that lead out of this area.
3 of 7: Unfortunately, the car is turned in the wrong direction. You need to rotate it 90 degrees onto the main tracks.
4 of 7: The track control room controls the tracks that the tram car runs on.
5 of 7: More specifically, a lever in the track control room controls the section in the center of the tunnels that rotates to switch tracks.
6 of 7: You need to get the tram car onto this rotating piece of track and rotate the tram car into position on the main tracks. This may take one or two trips to the track control room.
7 of 7: Once the tram is in position, hop on and set it to full power. You will break through the barrier that previously barred you from leaving these tunnels.
