Half-Life Hints
General Notes
1 of 4: "On A Rail" is basically a big, simple maze that you ride on a tram car. Most of the times, the actual tram system loops back on itself so you cannot get lost (just very confused).
2 of 4: In order to get to a different part of the system, you will have to remove certain obstacles. Keep in mind that you really cannot get lost and that everything either loops back on itself or takes you into the next area that you need to go. Just keep riding the tram.
3 of 4: There are many places in "On A Rail" that you do not necessarily have to go through. Quite often these places house a lot of extra ammo and let you get the drop on enemies waiting to ambush you as you ride by. You will want to travel through these places, but there will be no hints on them as they do not really require hints to get into or through. Though seemingly confusing, "On A Rail" is really quite straightforward.
4 of 4: There are a lot of soldiers working together and a lot of alien slaves working together so expect to see, for the first time, true squad warfare. Quite often, they will do most of the work fighting against each other, but always assume that a seemingly-empty room is not empty. Remember, you are the hunted.
