How do I get into the room with the rotating machinery?

  • 1 of 10: The door into the room is locked. You will have to find another way.
  • 2 of 10: If you look through the window, you can see a door in the very back of the room. That must be the way in.
  • 3 of 10: However, that back door really only leads to a dead-end storage area. If only you can figure out a way to break through into that storage area.
  • 4 of 10: If you think about the layout of the complex, what would be directly above the room with the rotating machinery?
  • 5 of 10: The primary laser.
  • 6 of 10: You can find its area by finding the headcrab cage room and going up the stairs in it.
  • 7 of 10: The primary laser is powerful enough to break into the storage room. You first need to get it online and working.
  • 8 of 10: Once it is working, you need to break through the wall that is shared with the storage room.
  • 9 of 10: Drop carefully through the hole and into the storage area, using the various pipes to make each drop a painless one.
  • 10 of 10: Walk up to the door to enter the room with three scientists.
