How do I avoid the Apache helicopter?
1 of 6: The Apache is a very mobile and agile helicopter. If you are out in the open for too long, you won't escape it.
2 of 6: Any sort of cover is better than none.
3 of 6: Water is usually some of the best cover. The water is brackish enough to prevent the helicopter from seeing you. The helicopter can and will see you if you pop up for air, so be cautious when doing so. You can travel without worrying about being chased down by the Apache.
4 of 6: Rocks also usually provide excellent cover. Be careful if any part of you is exposed. The Apache will loop back and forth over its territory, and if it spots you through even the smallest crack, it will shoot to kill.
5 of 6: If you must leave cover, listen for the helicopter to be moving away from you. That is your only chance of avoiding any fire. Be sure to duck back into cover once the Apache has circled back towards you.
6 of 6: Also, if you hear gunfire, be on alert. Obviously, if you are being hit by bullets, your cover is not sufficient. Otherwise, do not move. Your cover may be protecting you or the Apache may just be taking aim at the nearest aliens.
