Half-Life Hints
How do I break out of the helipad area?
of 10: The helipad area has a massive door, dead center in front of the helipads, that probably leads out. As you want to get out, you will have to break through that door.
of 10: The door is strong, but it is vulnerable to your weapons. Why, you could walk right up to it and whack it with the crowbar until it breaks. Then run on past the alien grunts and to the big alien slave teleport-in area. (Or read on to learn about the "right" way to do things here.)
of 10: This is a quasi-military establishment. Perhaps there is more powerful weaponry somewhere nearby.
of 10: There is a very powerful mortar launcher mounted on the roof of the entrance back into the alleyway.
of 10: You would have no trouble breaking through the door with it. Only, getting up there to use the mortar launcher may be tricky.
of 10: There are two ways to get up there.
of 10: The first is to jump/crouch-jump up the green military cases near the entrance back into the alley.
of 10: The other is to gain access to the "Authorized Personnel Only" door that is across from the green military boxes.
