How do I win the second stage of combat?
1 of 5: The second stage is also somewhat out in the open, only there is a pit in the center of it.
2 of 5: Move over to the pit and carefully drop down onto one of the rock protrusions. Gonarch cannot reach you there, and there is a health pool nearby. Be careful not to fall, though. Once you are done, there is an alien bounce-pad nearby that you can take up to the surface.
3 of 5: Note that there's a small trapezoid-shaped hole in the back corner of the area that you can drop down safely without having to pause and look carefully down at. Use it if you keep falling into oblivion when trying to drop onto one of the three rock protrusions in the main hole.
4 of 5: Use the alien bounce-pad to continually jump up and down. Use the hornet-gun on Gonarch when you are at the peak of your jump. That way, Gonarch has a very slight chance of being able to hit you and she definitely cannot charge you where you are. Just keep bouncing and shooting until she takes off.
5 of 5: Or you can try to stand on one of the white projections and fire up at her with the gluon gun, RPG, Mp5, etc. If she runs out of range without moving on to the next stage, use the bounce-pad to see where she is and plan your next attack vector.
