How do I win the third stage of combat?
1 of 6: The third stage takes place in a shaft underground where Gonarch is standing on some alien vines just above the ground.
2 of 6: It is easiest to carefully walk along the ledge above the shaft until you can see Gonarch (but just barely the top of her). The ground is slippery, so be careful not to fall. Use the hornet gun to weaken Gonarch up a bit.
3 of 6: If you shoot bunches of hornets without hearing any satisfying "crunch" sounds that mean the hornets are hurting Gonarch, toss some hand grenades and/or C4 satchels down to tear her up a bit. She'll change position, and the hornets should get her then.
4 of 6: Eventually, the vines she's on will break and drop her down to the floor below. Stay up where you are and fire hornets down there until she blows up.
5 of 6: The death-rattle of Gonarch will cause the ground to break open. Shoot hornets down there to finish off the leftover baby headcrabs, then carefully drop over the edge. (You can avoid falling damage if you lean on the down arrow key while sliding down the side.)
6 of 6: Then go around and collect all the armor and ammo that's down there before you go.
