How do I survive the cargo lift?
1 of 7: The best way to survive the cargo lift is to use the crowbar and some simple crouching.
2 of 7: Move to the very edge of the cargo lift (be careful not to fall), look up, and wait for falling headcrabs.
3 of 7: Most will have so much momentum that they will slide right on past you. The ones that do land will usually jump at you. Duck and they will jump right over you and off the cargo lift.
4 of 7: The ones that do survive the drop and do not fall for your simple crouch trick will hang around and attack you. Hit them with your crowbar since it is easier and does not waste ammo.
5 of 7: When you near the bottom of your descent, look for a ledge on one side that you can jump to. It has a health station and is beyond the headcrabs' attack range.
6 of 7: There is also a health station on one side of the water that you can use to heal up.
7 of 7: Just do not fall into the water. There is a grinding machine in there and you will not stand a chance.
