How do I reach the ladder above the ceiling panels?
1 of 5: To begin with, there are supposed to be three headcrabs up in the ceiling panels. Usually, only two of them drop down when the panels give way. You should be fairly certain that the other one is not still up there.
2 of 5: Just below the ladder is a small sort of parallel shaft. Toss a grenade into that shaft to hopefully clear the area of headcrabs. They could make things very difficult when you are trying to get to the ladder.
3 of 5: There are two boxes that are movable in the hallway.
4 of 5: However, you only need the smallest box. Push it to where it's right below the ladder, then jump onto it and hop up to the ladder.
5 of 5: Once up, move to the vent a short distance ahead. Do NOT crawl out of it yet.
