How do I get into the dark green room with the broken command panel?

  • 1 of 15: When you first entered this office area, where you found the security guard and the health station, the door opened up and hid a vent behind it.
  • 2 of 15: Break through the vent and follow the air duct up.
  • 3 of 15: You will come to a ladder below a fan that is missing a blade.
  • 4 of 15: Climb the ladder and then cross through the fan when the missing blade is in front of you. You enter into another ventilation system.
  • 5 of 15: You will next come to an exposed heating system. Jump over it.
  • 6 of 15: Just past the heating system, you come to yet another vent to break through. You may notice some headcrabs on the other side. Take them out through the vent before you break through.
  • 7 of 15: Walk along the top of the air duct until you get to another vent to break into.
  • 8 of 15: Next up, you have to cross over a rather odd setting of metal ceiling supports.
  • 9 of 15: When you get about halfway across, a wall will give way and one or two headcrabs will jump out. Kill them, even if they fall to the floor (unless you've already raided the room below).
  • 10 of 15: Beware, there are more in the hole in the wall.
  • 11 of 15: Toss a grenade in before moving on, or edge carefully forward and sneak-shoot the crabs with the handgun before they see you and lunge.
  • 12 of 15: Break through the vent on the other side of the structure.
  • 13 of 15: Finally, you come to a room with some structural supports and one headcrab. Kill the headcrab and then move into the far back side of the room.
  • 14 of 15: You will fall through the ceiling panels and into the dark green room.
  • 15 of 15: There is a ton of ammo, so grab as much as you can. You can now use the door to exit.
