How can I get back to the other side of the maintenance building?
1 of 5: Look around in the area between the two train cars for something useful.
2 of 5: Up on the raised floor near the back wall are some stairs leading up to a higher walkway.
3 of 5: Don't rush straight for those stairs, though -- hang back near the structure under the train car nearest Alyx and watch and listen.
4 of 5: If the next pair of soldiers show up on the upper ledge near the top of the stairs you're going for, run back to Alyx's emplacement and wait for her to kill them, then run for the stairs. If instead you hear Alyx shooting at the soldiers before you see them, run immediately for the stairs.
5 of 5: At the top of the stairs, keep going straight ahead to drop down onto the floor on the other side of the fallen train car.
