Soldier Combat Tips
1 of 6: Be ready to rocket or otherwise quickly kill off the soldiers who come in through the doors.
2 of 6: After you use all three rockets, run back to the crate outside to get more.
3 of 6: When all the soldiers who came through the door are dead, head up the ramp and be ready for two soldiers to come in through the big windows up there.
4 of 6: Then run on across and drop down near Alyx's mounted gun area before more soldiers can come in that same window.
5 of 6: ALTERNATIVE: If your own safety is your primary concern, you can sprint for the big ramp the moment you enter the maintenance building. If you run across and get to Alyx fast enough, you won't ever come under fire. (But you'll probably lose one of your followers.)
6 of 6: Or you can run partway up the ramp, stop long enough to use two or three rockets on the soldiers who come through the doors, and then run straight for Alyx's area. That'll help your followers a lot, and won't expose you to much more risk.
