Where can I go from this little platform?

  • 1 of 14: Look across the room and a bit to the right to see another little platform that's just a bit lower than yours.
  • 2 of 14: That's what you're trying to get to. Any ideas on how?
  • 3 of 14: Notice the large, slowly rotating containment device that's about on your level, just above the pulsating core.
  • 4 of 14: It has four extensions that look safe to tread on.
  • 5 of 14: You can jump to one easily as it passes by your platform.
  • 6 of 14: You could then just stand still and ride it slowly around to where you can jump to the platform you're going for, but you'll be swarmed by manhacks while you do.
  • 7 of 14: TIP: Move to the very top of the extension you're on, then quickly grab manhacks as they appear and throw them against something close enough that they'll be instantly destroyed instead of just damaged. Make sure all the manhacks are destroyed before you jump to the other platform, even if it means going around a couple of times.
  • 8 of 14: There is a quicker (and much more dangerous) way to get across.
  • 9 of 14: You can jump from the top of one of the four slanty extensions to another fairly easily.
  • 10 of 14: So as soon as you get on one, turn right and jump across to the next one.
  • 11 of 14: You can then try to run down it and jump to the other platform, but you have to be really fast. You may want to instead make the jump to the next extension and wait a few seconds for it to get near the platform.
  • 12 of 14: The disadvantage of this way is that you'll end up with soldiers attacking you from ahead and manhacks attacking you from behind at the same time.
  • 13 of 14: One way to deal with that is to rush ahead as soon as you jump to the platform, and then turn left. Dispose of the soldiers as quickly as you can, then turn to face the manhacks.
  • 14 of 14: One final note is that it's possible to reverse your course across the chamber, jumping from the second platform's railing to an extension, then sprint-jumping from it to the first platform's railing once you get around there. This is useful because the recharger near the first platform is the last one for awhile, and you can return to it for charge up until you activate the third control room's containment machine.
