Half-Life 2: Episode One Hints
Section 2: Escaping the Citadel (ep1_citadel_04)
1 of 10: After the big "door" ahead of you opens, run down the corridor and through another open door.
2 of 10: Take cover past that door while Alyx closes it. You don't want the soldiers who show up in the corridor to shoot you to pieces. (Remember that the gravity gun can't zap them anymore.)
3 of 10: But soon after you move on past the door Alyx closes, two rollermines will drop down and attack!
4 of 10: When Alyx uses a computer console to open a door into the next room, stay behind cover while your new rollermine pals take out the soldiers in the room. (You can pick up rollermines and throw them at soldiers through the doorway, but it's not at all necessary.)
5 of 10: Fortunately, the rollermines won't overload and explode until awhile after the current batch of soldiers is dead.
6 of 10: Alyx will open the door to the nearby train, so quickly use the health recharger near the train if you need to, then get aboard and away from the door before more soldiers show up.
7 of 10: When Alyx heads to the back of the train car you're in, follow her there.
8 of 10: Be ready for the train to start shaking and crashing around soon after.
9 of 10: You'll go briefly unconscious, and when you wake up, the stalker pods will have been knocked around, and Alyx will be pinned by one in the back.
