Elevator Room Supply Tips

  • 1 of 11: There are four web caches in this room, some in the walls and some in the ceiling.
  • 2 of 11: Turn right as you enter the room from the mine tunnel to find a wall cache that includes shotgun shells, .357 ammo, and a health kit. (And pistol ammo if you're low on it.)
  • 3 of 11: Near that spot is a ceiling cache next to a barnacle.
  • 4 of 11: Be warned that this cache includes two headcrabs, one of which is actually on a wooden beam near the cache instead of inside it.
  • 5 of 11: Shoot that crab down with the pistol, then shoot open the web.
  • 6 of 11: Back up and shoot the second headcrab to death after it drops down.
  • 7 of 11: It'll then be safe to claim the ammo and health kit that also fell down.
  • 8 of 11: The web cache in the wall on the right has a poison headcrab in it, so be ready to whack him with the crowbar right after you bash the web. (Or stand back and shoot the web and then the headcrab.)
  • 9 of 11: The final cache is in the ceiling near the elevator shaft, next to another barnacle.
  • 10 of 11: To open this cache without having to use any ammo, get up on the wooden platform underneath it, then jump toward the cache and hit it with a gravity gun burst.
  • 11 of 11: Thankfully, it has no headcrabs in it -- just the usual assortment of goods.
