How can I get through the guardian's area and to the elevator shaft?
1 of 25: When you first drop into the antlion guardian's area, you'll find yourself next to a cluster of stalagmites on a narrow stone path.
2 of 25: Stay behind the stalagmites as the antlion guardian charges you and head-butts the stalagmites.
3 of 25: Wait until he starts around the cluster on one side (it'll probably be on your left), then quickly sprint around the other side and along the narrow pathway.
4 of 25: Keep sprinting along until you reach the entrance to a small tunnel with grub worms in it.
5 of 25: The guardian won't be able to follow you into that tunnel, so you can relax (for now).
6 of 25: Go along the grub tunnel until you reach a bashable web that leads into a larger guardian-friendly tunnel.
7 of 25: After the guardian runs by in front of you, bash the web and go through it, then turn left.
8 of 25: Yes, you're following the guardian, but if you sprint, you can reach the next grub tunnel (on your left) before you meet up with the guardian.
9 of 25: Move through that grub tunnel to its exit, then go straight ahead to find the next one. (Note that there are two armor batteries along the way.)
10 of 25: When you exit that grub tunnel, you'll be on a circular stone pathway with a large pillar of rock in its center.
11 of 25: The antlion guardian is on the same path, on the other side of the stone pillar, and you're going to have to get past him.
12 of 25: After you get into the grub tunnel, wait near its entrance until the guardian runs off to the right.
13 of 25: Exit the tunnel and run left until you drop down into some water.
14 of 25: From there, take the tunnel opening on the right, then go into the grub tunnel that's immediately on your left.
15 of 25: Move to the other end of the grub tunnel and bash the web over its exit point.
16 of 25: The guardian is probably in the tunnel to the left, which is the way you need to go, but he may not be. Be sure to save at this point just in case.
17 of 25: Leave the grub tunnel and start off to the left cautiously.
18 of 25: When you hear the guardian running toward you, sprint back for the grub tunnel and reenter it.
19 of 25: After the guardian runs by, get out the shotgun and exit the tunnel.
20 of 25: Turn left and sprint along until you reach a boarded-over doorway.
21 of 25: Quickly blast the boards with the shotgun, then run through the doorway and hug the back wall of the room beyond.
22 of 25: The guardian will stick his head in and thrash about, but he shouldn't be able to hurt you.
23 of 25: Just wait until the floorboards underneath you give way, and you'll fall down into a safe area, out of the reach of the guardian.
24 of 25: Follow the mine tunnel along and bash through a web to reach a very large room.
25 of 25: Look near the room's back left corner to find the bottom of the elevator shaft.
