How can I fix this lift?
1 of 17: It's getting power, so that can't be the problem.
2 of 17: Perhaps it's been purposely jammed so that it can't fully descend. You'd better get up there and see.
3 of 17: Start by climbing up the ladder that's to the left of the lift shaft.
4 of 17: Past the ladder top, move along the board walkway to find the start of a grassy path that slopes upward.
5 of 17: Watch out for falling rocks as you approach the path.
6 of 17: You may have to use the gravity gun to remove a rock or two from the path before you can move along it.
7 of 17: Also be ready to grav-blast a poison headcrab that's on the path.
8 of 17: As you move up the second part of the path, pause next to the parasite rocket to allow some more rocks to fall.
9 of 17: You'll then have to cross some rickety boards in order to reach the lift.
10 of 17: The first large cross-board is too weak to hold your weight, so jump over it and land on the two cross-boards past it.
11 of 17: Go over to the lift and examine its top to see how you can enter it.
12 of 17: There's a small trap door that has a board holding it shut.
13 of 17: So grab onto the board with the gravity gun and pull it out of the way.
14 of 17: Do the same for the trap door, then drop down into the lift through the new opening.
15 of 17: Look around inside the lift to see what's jamming it.
16 of 17: It's that pickaxe that someone jammed into the lever mechanism.
17 of 17: Pulling the pickaxe out with the gravity gun will fix the lift.
