How can I get back up to the locked room?

  • 1 of 13: Check out the little lift whose shaft you dropped down to get to this room.
  • 2 of 13: It has a control panel, but it's not working.
  • 3 of 13: Visually follow the panel's cable along to find that it ends in an empty wall socket.
  • 4 of 13: You'll apparently need to plug a cable into that socket in order to power the lift.
  • 5 of 13: Move the nearby wooden pallet out of the way to discover another socket in the wall, plus a short two-plug cable on the floor.
  • 6 of 13: The other socket is getting power (you can tell by the green light), so all you have to do is connect it to the lift's socket.
  • 7 of 13: But the cable on the floor is too short for that. If you plug it into one of the two empty sockets, it won't be able to reach to the other one.
  • 8 of 13: There's only one other removable cable with plugs around here.
  • 9 of 13: It's the one that you restored power with over on the other side of the room.
  • 10 of 13: It looks a bit longer than the one you found on the floor. What if you were to switch cables?
  • 11 of 13: The one you found is long enough to connect the two upper sockets over there and keep the power flowing, so replace the other cable with it.
  • 12 of 13: You can now use the longer cable to hook the lift up to power.
  • 13 of 13: Then you can get on the lift and use its control to return to the room above.
