How can I get out of here while under fire from the chopper?

  • 1 of 11: As soon as the hunter goes down, make a mad dash for the muscle car.
  • 2 of 11: Get in and wait for Alyx to do the same, then start driving for the now-open gate that's at the back end of the farm area.
  • 3 of 11: If you make it to the car fast enough, Alyx will get in and you can get going before the chopper starts firing on you. If you're not fast enough on your first try, you might want to restore a save and try again.
  • 4 of 11: Drive through the open gate and on toward a fence with a supply crate and a couple of zombines near it.
  • 5 of 11: Try to aim for the supply crate as you head toward the fence.
  • 6 of 11: Crash through it, then go past the train cars on the track before turning left.
  • 7 of 11: Get on the right-hand train track at first, then nudge left to go between the two tracks.
  • 8 of 11: Keep going straight along between the tracks until the chopper starts dropping time bombs in front of you.
  • 9 of 11: At that point, you'll want to start swerving around to the outside on either the left or right so that you can keep going without hitting any bombs.
  • 10 of 11: They do time out and explode on their own, but if you slow down or stop to let them do that, the chopper will have a chance to spray you good with its autocannon.
  • 11 of 11: Don't worry about getting all the supply crates now -- just concentrate on getting to one of the two side-by-side tunnel entrances at the end of the area.
