How can I get this gate open?
1 of 12: Look to the right of it to find a building with a closed door.
2 of 12: The gate control is probably inside that building, but the door won't open.
3 of 12: You could crawl into a dark space under the building and find a trap door that leads into it, but the game won't let you open it from this side (even if you manage to move the bar out of the way with the gravity gun).
4 of 12: You're apparently going to have to drop down into the building from above, so start looking around for a way to do that.
5 of 12: Examine the wooden structure between the two large train cars nearby.
6 of 12: There are two ladders on that structure, one of which you can climb up.
7 of 12: At the top of the ladder, move forward and turn right.
8 of 12: Move along the wooden beam and turn left to reach the rooftop of the building you're trying to get into.
9 of 12: Look for a loose piece of sheet metal on the rooftop, then throw it out of the way with the gravity gun.
10 of 12: Now you can drop down inside the building and find the gate control panel.
11 of 12: It's over near one of the windows.
12 of 12: Press the "Use item" key while looking directly at the red-light-green-light control in order to open the gate.
