The energy orb keeps bouncing back into the generator!
1 of 8: That's because energy orbs have to bounce around a bit before they pop, and you're in a very small room.
2 of 8: How might you make a little more room for the orb to bounce?
3 of 8: There's a large door near the field generator that has a green button next to it.
4 of 8: Press the button to open the door.
5 of 8: Then hit the energy orb with the gravity gun before the door closes again.
6 of 8: To make sure the orb goes out the door, run over to where you can hit the orb straight toward the door right after you open it.
7 of 8: It's best to wait until the orb is near the bottom of the generator, then blast it out the door.
8 of 8: If the door closes too early, or you hit the orb at the wrong time or angle, just open the door and try again.
