2 of 18: There are 9 more grubs in the tunnel that leads to the first big cavern area. (Note that three of the grubs are inside the web cache.) [105]
3 of 18: In the first big cavern area, there are 3 grubs near the drop-down, 1 on the lower floor just past the drop-down, 2 more near the large group of antlions, 1 more on the pathway a bit past that, and 2 up on the cave ceiling above the deep pit. [114]
4 of 18: There are 4 more grubs along the passage before you get to the next web cache. [118]
5 of 18: There are 2 grubs inside that web cache, one of which will be hard to see at first. You may have to run up into the cache area a bit in order to get it. [120]

12 of 18: As for the 1 grub in the mine carts with strapped-down crates, you can kill it yourself, or let it fall with the mine carts and die. After the carts are gone, look into the huge cave area past them to find 4 more grubs to shoot on a wall near a tunnel opening. [176]
13 of 18: There are 9 grubs on the ground in the area where a zombie rides a mine cart down to crash into a barrier. Let the cart kill most of them, then finish off the rest yourself. [185]
14 of 18: After you ride a mine cart and fall into a deep shaft with water at the bottom, watch for 12 grubs in various spots on the shaft walls as you climb up the ladder. There are 12 more in the tunnel past the ladder if you include the three that are on the ceiling at the point where you drop down into the next cave area. [209]
15 of 18: After you drop down, you'll find 3 grubs on the ground nearby, 2 more on the ground ahead, and 2 on the wall near those. [216]
16 of 18: At the start of the narrow, winding stone bridge that leads across the chasm, look way up to see 5 grubs that you can't ever get close to. The 5 grubs you can see in a closer tunnel opening can be killed once you cross the stone bridge and get around to that opening. [226]
