Section 3: The Magnusson Device (ep2_outland_11b)
1 of 8: Follow Alyx to where Kleiner and Dr. Vance are, then wait around until Magnusson shows up and demands that you follow him.
2 of 8: He'll take you to a practice field where you'll learn how to use "Magnusson devices" (sticky bombs) against striders.
3 of 8: Use the gravity gun to pull the practice sticky bomb out of the dispenser port when Magnusson tells you to, then fire it so that it'll stick to the strider's main body.
4 of 8: Shoot it once with the pistol after it's stuck to the strider to explode it.
5 of 8: On the second trial, the strider will be a lot farther away.
6 of 8: Hold the sticky bomb so that you can almost (but not quite) see the strider's main body beneath it, then fire it. That should get it stuck to the body, and you can then detonate it with the pistol.
7 of 8: You can keep practicing after that as much as you want. When you're done, go over to the door that Dr. Magnusson is standing next to.
