Secret Area
1 of 7: Look directly across the road from in front of the small house that's next to the gas pumps.
2 of 7: Find the bent piece of the fencing that's surrounding the large cylindrical whatsis over there.
3 of 7: You need to set some object on the ground next to that bent piece of fencing so you can jump over it.
4 of 7: An upright barrel would work for this, so search around the gas station until you find one. (Or wait until you get the jeep through the force field, then park it next to the bent fencing.)
5 of 7: When you get over the fence, go around behind the cylinder thing to find a .357 Magnum next to a dead body.
6 of 7: NOTE: Check out the three large spray-painted drawings on the wall near the body. Notice how there's an ape on the right, a man in the middle, and what must be a Combine soldier on the left. This seems to imply that Combine personnel are mutated, augmented humans!
7 of 7: To leave the area, take a running jump at the bent fencing to get back over it.
