Supply Tip
1 of 4: Don't go through that door right away -- Alyx will seal it right behind you.
2 of 4: First, use the gravity gun to toss all the sentry guns you're taking with you past the door.
3 of 4: Then return to the cell block D8 area if you haven't already to use the health and armor stations and pick up any leftover supplies. (Just watch out for any upright sentry guns you left behind there -- they'll shoot you if they can.)
4 of 4: WARNING: Some soldiers may appear at the end of the room opposite the huge Combine door, so set up a sentry or two to deal with them (or shoot them yourself).
