How can I jam the doors open?
1 of 5: Go back to the rooms near the top of the stairwell and use the gravity gun to pick up one of the large desks.
2 of 5: Take it to the trap room and quicksave your game before you try using it.
3 of 5: The best way is to pick up the desk from one end and head for the doors with it held out in front of you, jumping constantly as you go so that you can move a little faster. The desk should wedge firmly between the doors when they close.
4 of 5: You could instead shoot the desk through the doors with the gravity gun from a ways back, then pull the desk back toward you until it's between the doors, but it's harder to get it into the right position this way. (Also, be sure not to move too far forward while doing this, or the trap will spring before you're ready.)
5 of 5: NOTE: Even if the doors do jam open at first, they'll keep trying over and over to close, and the desk may get thrown free at some point.
