How can I get the thumper to work?

  • 1 of 8: If you carefully make your way along gravity-gun-moved junk all the way to the thumper, you'll be disappointed to see that it doesn't have one of those standard red-light-green-light control panels.
  • 2 of 8: But notice that it does have a power line running over to a nearby building.
  • 3 of 8: So use your moveable junk to get over there.
  • 4 of 8: Or you can just go to that building straight from the grassy hill that's near the two optional buildings instead of wasting your time going out to the thumper first.
  • 5 of 8: Make your way through the building, careful not to touch the sand inside it.
  • 6 of 8: Bash any supply crates and furniture that get in your way.
  • 7 of 8: In back of that building is a portable power generator.
  • 8 of 8: Use its little control panel to get the thumper going.
