How can I get through this force field?
1 of 12: As usual, you need to find and pull its plug.
2 of 12: However, you can't see that plug from any spot on this side of the force field -- you can just see the power line snaking off into another room.
3 of 12: What you need to do is find a way to get around the force field so you can pull its plug from the other side.
4 of 12: While standing to where the sentry guns can't see you, scan the other side of the room.
5 of 12: On the right is the desk that the first sentry gun was behind before you knocked it over. Look a little way to the left of it.
6 of 12: You see that dark square hole in the wall near floor level? That looks worth investigating.
7 of 12: Make a quick dash across the room to the bent piece of fencing that's to the left of that hole. If you stand in the right spot, the pillar the fencing is next to will protect you from sentry gun fire.
8 of 12: Use the gravity gun to knock away the piece of fencing that's partly in front of the crawlway's opening, then yank and throw the opening's grate cover away.
9 of 12: Crouch-walk into the opening and follow it along to a room where you're blocked by a large fan.
10 of 12: Past that is another crawlway with a grate covering to bash out.
11 of 12: Use the gravity gun to knock out the grating from a distance, then ease forward to where you can quickly shoot down a soldier who's standing over to the left. (Watch out for his grenades!)
12 of 12: After he's down, you can pull the nearby plug from the wall and go knock those lousy sentry guns over at last!
