Half-Life 2 Hints

Zombie Torso

  • Health: 25

    First Seen: Route Kanal, Section 4

    These creatures are headcrab-controlled zombies who've lost their legs for some reason or other. It's possible to turn a regular zombie into a zombie torso while fighting it, but you usually encounter them already in that condition.

    They can move, but only with a fairly slow crawling motion. Unless there are other things to worry about, the best way to kill a zombie torso is to crouch and whack it with the crowbar repeatedly while walking backward to avoid its arm swipes.
