Hopper

  • Health: indestructible except by detonating
    Damage: 100 from explosion

    These are small fixed mines with three little mechanical legs. If you get too close to a hopper set by an enemy, it'll hop up and explode, causing tremendous damage.

    What you need to do is suck in each hopper you come across with the gravity gun, and then either throw it to blow it up or set it down gently to make it friendly to your forces and hostile to your enemies. That means you have two ways to use them to your advantage: throw them to blow up enemies at a distance, or set them and retreat so that your enemies have to try to get past the hoppers to get to you.
