Half-Life 2 Hints
The bridge Alyx was counting on using is out! How do we get across?
1 of 7: Alyx says to wait while she tries to scout out another way.
2 of 7: Watch as she nimbly climbs up the side of the nearby building. (Something *you* wouldn't stand a chance of doing!)
3 of 7: When she gets to the top, she yells something and then disappears.
4 of 7: She's come under fire by a bunch of Combine reinforcements, so quickly drop down into the dry canal under the bridge and look for a way out.
5 of 7: Find the small tunnel opening in the far wall, near the corner left of the bridge remains.
6 of 7: NOTE: You could drop into the canal and start looking for the tunnel opening as soon as you leave the square instead of waiting for Alyx to do her scouting-ahead bit.
7 of 7: TIP: There are two supply crates that you'll undoubtedly need the contents of near the tunnel entrance. One is on the ground near a yellow car that's on its side, and the other is in the trailer of a wrecked truck. (Use the gravity gun to help you get it out.)
