Half-Life 2 Hints
A bunch of parasite rockets carrying headcrabs crash-landed nearby!
1 of 7: You're going to have to watch out for those.
2 of 7: You don't really need to worry about a rocket hitting you and instantly killing you, but you do need to watch out for the headcrabs that the rockets release right after crashing.
3 of 7: If you watch closely, you'll see that the back end of each rocket opens up and releases three headcrabs.
4 of 7: If the headcrabs don't immediately spot a target, they burrow down into the ground near the rocket and wait for someone to ambush.
5 of 7: This means that every time you come across a rocket that's already crashed, be on your guard as you go near it because you could be attacked by up to three headcrabs at once (though it's usually only one or two).
6 of 7: Whenever you witness a rocket crash nearby, you might want to make things easier on yourself by using the pistol or SMG to shoot the headcrabs as they crawl out of the rocket and drop to the ground. That'll keep them from being able to ambush you.
7 of 7: Or if you can reach the rocket fast enough, you can stand next to it and crowbar-whack the headcrabs as they crawl out.
