How can I cross the walkway safely?
1 of 6: You could run across, jumping the rail debris as you go, but if you get stuck for even a split second, you'll take damage from the explosion.
2 of 6: To make the run easier, you could hop up onto the right-hand railing and run across on it. However, you'd have to be sure to jump a gap in the rail that was put in near the blast point just to trip you up.
3 of 6: Or you could just casually stroll out on the walkway with your gravity gun ready to suck up and throw away any grenades that come your way. However, you'd come under fire from the soldier up there who's throwing them, and another grenade might land nearby while you're shooting at the soldier.
4 of 6: A much safer way across is to not set foot on the walkway at all, but to run along on the slanty concrete just to the right of it (or underneath it).
5 of 6: When you reach the other end, get up on the nearby ledge and jump over the walkway's railing. The grenade-throwing soldier won't even appear if you do it this way.
6 of 6: NOTES: However you get across, you'll have to jump onto a crooked fence door at the end and run across it. Also, watch out for the barnacle who's hanging over the fence door.
