Half-Life 2 Hints
I'm stuck in the upper levels! How do I leave?
1 of 8: This is one area where you won't find the exit by going further. (You can't get up onto the Combine elite's favorite walkway or up through the roof.)
2 of 8: Instead, head back down to a formerly closed and locked door that you may or may not have seen earlier.
3 of 8: Remember where the last two Combine soldiers appeared?
4 of 8: On the little balcony with the hopper on it.
5 of 8: The soldiers left the balcony's back doors open, and you can use them to exit.
6 of 8: So look around the upper walkways for a way to get to that balcony.
7 of 8: The walkway that's halfway up the ladder goes right over the balcony near the spot where the two supply crates are (or were, if you've already broken them open).
8 of 8: So get off on that walkway and go over to where you can drop down onto the balcony. (Though you'll first want to yank and throw the balcony's hopper if it's still there and hostile to you.)
