How can I get around this car bomb?
1 of 11: When you hear the bomb beeping, proceed with caution.
2 of 11: Unfortunately, the bomb isn't a time bomb, so you can't just hang back and wait for it to go off. You have to approach the car that it's set in.
3 of 11: It's not in one of the two nearest white cars, but in one a bit further along, next to a wall.
4 of 11: There's no way to defuse the bomb or get around it so that it doesn't go off, so you might as well move forward until it goes off.
5 of 11: It probably won't damage you, but it will dump you down into a big hole, giving the soldiers the height advantage when they attack.
6 of 11: There is a better way. First, find the supply crate that's next to the large pillar.
7 of 11: While staying close to that pillar, use the gravity gun to blast the two nearest cars over toward the street hole you dropped in through.
8 of 11: Now run past the pillar and start toward the car bomb, but veer left and head for the cars you just blasted aside right before the bomb goes off.
9 of 11: When it does, you should be on the floor near the cars you shoved back instead of down in the new pit.
10 of 11: You can then peek around the corner and pick off soldiers from a distance, or wait behind cover of the cars for them to come to you (and then crush them by hitting the cars with gravity gun blasts).
11 of 11: NOTE: It is possible to knock the cars around to where you can use them to jump back up onto the street and go back the way you came, but with two striders out there now, the supplies you left behind probably aren't worth going back for.
