Where do I go after I destroy both striders?

  • 1 of 9: One of your resistance buddies will tell you to "head for the horse," an expression you've heard at least once before.
  • 2 of 9: He's referring to the statue of a horse on a very tall pedestal that you can see from your rooftop vantage point, but looking that way isn't very helpful.
  • 3 of 9: Look around for a way to get onto some part of the street area where the horse statue is.
  • 4 of 9: All of the spots where you can drop down to rubble areas are old news, so look for something to walk across without dropping down.
  • 5 of 9: Find the top of the white streetlamp that frequently throws off sparks and figure out how to get to it.
  • 6 of 9: There are three rusty brown metal girders that you can use to carefully walk from your rooftop perch across to the fizzly lamp.
  • 7 of 9: Below you is the street you're trying to get to. You'll see resistance members shooting at some Combine soldiers.
  • 8 of 9: Before you drop down, ready a weapon like the crossbow or .357 and shoot down any Combine soldiers that you can see in the distance. (Or use the RPG if you want to, since you can always go back for more rockets.)
  • 9 of 9: When the street seems clear of soldiers, drop down to it as carefully as you can to minimize health loss. (If there's a green dumpster near enough for you to drop onto, do so.)
